Getting Bigger

Since we started The Great Kernow Koaster Team 3 years ago it was our aim to continue to fund raise for a charity. Once we had decide on Larf Cornwall we knew we had made the right choice, as we had the same drive and passion as the trustees of the charity.

In the 3 years we have raised near enough £2500 for them from our charity walk, which took place in spectacular weather in an amazing place on earth. The weather and the scenery were amazing and did quite literally take our breaths away (or it could of been the footpaths).

unfortunately things went down hill a bit for us after that as a member of the team was diagnosed with colitis, which meant we took time out of planning future events so that we could all focus on our health, as some of us had also picked up knee and back injuries.

But now we feel everything is back on track and are ready for our next challenge, not only have we decided to Kayak 3 rivers in 3 days, we have also doubled the size of the team to 10 members.

They saw what we achieved back in 2016 and felt like they could add something to the team, and we have welcomed them.

As we feel the more people that know about Larf Cornwall and what they are achieving is also a great boost for them not just financially but mentally as it shows what they are achieving is greatly appreciated and supported by everyone.
